The Opportunity Responsible for arranging and overseeing inbound and outbound logistics to meet customer needs. Work with carriers on late/miss appointments and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete. Maintain housekeeping and 5S to standards set by management. Follow all Smurfit WesrRock Core Values and Behaviors. Additional job duties as assigned by department manager. Key Responsibilities Check and help maintain inventory of raw materials, rolls, WIP and finished goods. Check and complete all required paperwork. Communicate issues in department with manager. Assist with reviews and/or disciplinary actions if necessary. Handle conflict between employees, escalate to manager if necessary. Coach and build others for success Schedule outbound trucks for finished goods. Communicate with carriers regarding late shipments. Follow returned goods procedure. Assist in preparation of scrap bills. General miscellaneous duties such as telephone, copying of forms, etc., Assist in daily departmental operations. Assist in physical inventory activities. What You Need to Succeed High school diploma or GED required. Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environment. Strong commitment to workplace safety. Experience with inventory control, shipping, and receiving processes. Ability to complete paperwork accurately and maintain records. Strong communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills. Leadership experience with the ability to coach and develop employees. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer systems. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
