About the Role Dexter is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations and lead onsite team performance. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient workflow, inventory accuracy, and adherence to safety and operational standards, while supporting customer service and business needs. The ideal candidate is an experienced warehouse professional who can lead a team, drive accountability, and maintain a high-performing, organized, and safe warehouse environment. What You'll Do Lead and daily warehouse operations include receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. Supervise and support warehouse team members, providing direction, training, and performance feedback. Ensure productivity, accuracy, and timely order fulfillment. Ensure accurate inventory handling, including receiving, labeling, storage, and shipment processes. Maintain organized warehouse layout and storage practices to optimize efficiency and accessibility. Oversee loading and unloading of trucks, containers, and pallets while ensuring safety and product integrity. Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) in compliance with safety standards (where certified). Enforce company safety policies and procedures; proactively identify and address hazards. Support cycle counts and inventory control processes to maintain high levels of accuracy. Monitor order accuracy and ensure on-time shipment to meet customer expectations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and work areas. Communicate effectively with leadership regarding performance, staffing, and operational issues. What We're Looking For Previous warehouse experience required; supervisory or lead experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to lead teams, prioritize work, and drive results. Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment (or willingness to be trained/certified). Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Effective communication and problem-solving skills. Reliable, team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting and moving materials.
