Job Description

Overview The role of the Warehouse Coordinator is to support the project team of a national telecommunications construction contractor by managing the daily flow of fiber optic construction materials and inventory operations. This position requires the ability to multitask, prioritize competing requests, and work effectively with multiple team members while maintaining exceptional organizational and communication skills in an outdoor environment. The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing inventory, ensuring accurate material tracking, maintaining organized storage areas, and supporting construction crews with timely material distribution. Responsibilities Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse and yard environment in compliance with company and project safety standards. Manage multiple requests to issue materials to active construction crews while ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment. Receive, inspect, organize, and maintain incoming materials within the warehouse and off-site storage yard. Maintain accurate inventory records by entering all material transactions, including receipts, transfers, and issues, into the company's inventory management software system. Coordinate and communicate with delivery drivers, contractors, inspectors, supervisors, and client material control personnel to support project requirements. Monitor inventory levels and assist with material tracking to prevent shortages, delays, or discrepancies. Requirements Certified to drive a standard forklift and a JLG fork lift. Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills Proficient with PCs and Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Project, etc Current valid driver's license Ability to read and produce spreadsheets and email Other Skills/Abilities Knowledge of OSHA safety rules and regulations as they apply to warehouse and inventory control. Physical Requirements Must be able to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel and reach Must be able to speak, write, read and understand English Must be able to lift 0-45 pounds Must be able to drive a car Must be able to pass a drug screen and background search
Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
