About the Role We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to safely and efficiently manage our 6,000 sq. ft. Wilmington warehouse. This is a "hands-on" leadership position. You won't just be behind a desk; you will be active in all areas of operations, from receiving furniture and product assembly to loading vehicles and occasionally assisting with deliveries. You will lead a dedicated team of 2-4 members, ensuring that every piece of premium furniture is handled with precision and care. What You'll Do Team Leadership:

Manage and lead a crew of 2-4 assemblers and delivery drivers.

Inventory Management:

Use software to receive inbound freight, perform inventory cycle counts, and manage all merchandise.

Logistics & Scheduling:

Schedule merchandise transfers between locations and communicate daily with customers regarding their delivery schedules.

Warehouse Optimization:

Plan and implement storage layouts to maintain physical warehouse conditions and oversee the preparation of outbound furniture.

Fleet Oversight:

Maintain the delivery vehicle fleet, including completing monthly safety inspection forms.

Daily Operations:

Ensure the warehouse remains clean and safe by completing daily operational checklists and housekeeping tasks.

What We're Looking For Experience:

Previous leadership, warehouse, or delivery experience is preferred.

Physical Ability:

Must be able to stand/walk 6+ hours per day, lift 50 to 80 lbs, and withstand high temperatures and humidity during summer months.

Skills:

Excellent communication skills and the ability to use technology for inventory and receiving.

Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required; you may operate vehicles such as a box truck (less than 26,000 lbs).

Compliance:

Must pass a criminal background and driving record check.
