This position serves as the lead field technician and operational support resource, working directly with the General Manager to ensure gaming devices, facilities, and technical operations are maintained to the highest standards. Your expertise will help maximize operational efficiency, minimize downtime, and deliver exceptional service to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical troubleshooting skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to operational excellence. This role combines hands-on field service, bench repair support, facility maintenance oversight, and technician leadership. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Technical Operations Lead and occasionally perform daily route technician activities and prioritize service calls. Work with Accounting for accuracy of fills, counts and deposits Perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of gaming devices and associated equipment. Assist with bench repairs, component-level diagnostics, and hardware replacement. Support machine installations, conversions, software upgrades, and removals. Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are completed accurately and on time. Monitor machine performance and identify opportunities to improve uptime and reliability. Leadership and Team Support Provide guidance, coaching, and technical assistance to route technicians. Assist with technician training and onboarding. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and customer service. Coordinate technician schedules and workload assignments as directed by management. Serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues. Facility & Building Maintenance Coordinate routine building maintenance activities. Monitor facility conditions and address maintenance needs proactively. Coordinate repairs with vendors, contractors, and service providers when necessary. Assist with maintaining company vehicles, tools, and equipment. Ensure facilities remain compliant with company standards and regulatory requirements. Operational Support Work closely with the General Manager to execute operational priorities and special projects. Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and inventory documentation as well as routine route balances and operations. Support regulatory inspections, audits, and compliance requirements. Assist with inventory management and parts control. Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to emergency service calls as required. Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 3-5 years of gaming, slot machine, electronics, or related technical experience. Demonstrated troubleshooting and repair experience with electronic equipment. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a field-service environment. Preferred Experience with slot route operations or casino gaming equipment. Knowledge of gaming regulations and compliance requirements. Electronics, networking, or gaming industry certifications. Experience supervising or leading technical teams.
