Shipping Lead

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintains compliance to all quality control procedures and standards. Schedule and track shipments to ensure timely delivery. Ensures proper utilization of machines, tools, and equipment; provides timely information to department supervisor regarding needed maintenance to production equipment ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum. Assists in training and direction of employees in the production area. Handle any shipping-related issues and resolve discrepancies. Ensures that all department personnel are informed of and adhere to all company rules, regulations and policies. Seeks to control and improve material handling methods and procedures to ensure smooth production flow. Completes required production records, reports, and other documentation. Performs other duties as assigned.
