About the Job - Position Summary Fossil Farms is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented E-Commerce Shipping Supervisor to oversee daily e-commerce fulfillment and parcel shipping operations. This role is responsible for ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and efficiently while maintaining Fossil Farms' high standards for product quality, food safety, organization, and customer satisfaction. The E-Commerce Shipping Supervisor will lead the daily UPS/FedEx shipping team, coordinate workflow priorities, maintain shipping accuracy and productivity, and help drive continuous improvement within warehouse operations. This position requires strong leadership, accountability, organization, and the ability to work in a fast-paced cold-storage environment. Key Responsibilities Daily Shipping & Fulfillment Operations Supervise daily e-commerce fulfillment operations, including picking, packing, labeling, and shipping orders. Oversee all UPS, FedEx, and parcel shipping activities to ensure orders ship on time and accurately. Coordinate daily workflow and staffing to meet shipping deadlines and order volume demands. Monitor order queues and prioritize urgent or same-day shipments. Ensure shipping stations remain clean, organized, stocked, and operational. Team Leadership Lead, train, and support warehouse shipping team members. Provide direction and maintain strong floor presence throughout the shift. Hold team accountable to productivity, accuracy, attendance, and operational standards. Assist in onboarding and continuous training of new employees. Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment focused on accountability and efficiency. Quality Control & Food Safety Ensure all products are packed according to Fossil Farms standards for quality and presentation. Verify proper handling of frozen and refrigerated products during fulfillment. Monitor packaging integrity, dry ice usage, labeling accuracy, and shipment condition. Ensure compliance with company SOPs, food safety procedures, sanitation protocols, and traceability requirements. Report inventory discrepancies, product damage, or quality concerns immediately. Inventory & Warehouse Coordination Assist with inventory organization and maintaining designated SKU locations. Coordinate with receiving, inventory, and warehouse leadership to ensure product availability for orders. Help improve warehouse layout and fulfillment efficiency. Support cycle counts, inventory accuracy initiatives, and warehouse organization projects. Systems & Documentation Utilize ERP and shipping systems to process and track orders accurately. Ensure label generation, and shipment documentation. Maintain accurate shipping records and productivity tracking. Adherence to operational SOPs. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve shipping efficiency, workflow, organization, and labor utilization. Support warehouse efficiency initiatives and operational restructuring projects. Help develop and maintain scalable shipping and fulfillment processes as company growth continues. Qualifications 2+ years of warehouse, fulfillment, or shipping supervisory experience preferred. Experience with UPS, FedEx, and e-commerce fulfillment operations strongly preferred. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Comfortable working in refrigerated and freezer environments. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Experience with ERP and Microsoft Office systems preferred. Knowledge of food distribution, cold chain handling, or perishable products is a plus. Preferred Traits Hands-on leadership mentality. Strong sense of urgency and accountability. Schedule Expectations Full-time position with flexibility to support early morning, evening, or peak shipping periods as needed. Availability during high-volume holiday or promotional periods may be required.
