Staff Management | SMX Warehouse Group Lead Description We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Group Leader to lead daily warehouse operations and inventory flow during the assigned shift. This hands-on role oversees receiving, shipping, and inventory accuracy while guiding warehouse staff to meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards. The ideal candidate takes ownership of operations, supports the Warehouse Manager, and steps into a leadership role when needed to keep the warehouse running smoothly.

8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Perks & Benefits Weekly paychecks Direct Deposit or Cash Card pay options Medical / Dental Insurance $22.00 / Hour Employment Type & Shifts Full Time Temp to Hire 1st Shift Job Responsibilities Assign and supervise daily tasks for warehouse personnel during the shift Oversee receiving, loading, unloading, and storage of finished goods and materials Ensure compliance with all legal, safety, food safety, food quality, GMP, and company procedures Maintain accurate inventory records of supplies, raw materials, and packaging materials Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against invoices and documentation Ensure all goods are properly labeled, tagged, and handled using FIFO and GMP standards Complete all paperwork related to receiving, shipping, and inventory control Monitor warehouse records and report inventory discrepancies or damages to management Supervise deliveries of supplies to production lines according to SOPs Coordinate outbound shipments to customers and cold storage facilities Communicate with suppliers regarding shipment schedules and deliveries Conduct forklift and trailer inspections per company requirements Maintain a

tolerance and report any issues immediately Ensure warehouse areas and equipment remain clean, organized, and safe at all times Use SAP (Warehouse Application) and handheld scanners or mobile computers to receive and track inventory Assist with reviewing open sales orders and maintaining adequate inventory levels Pick and deliver samples or test products as required Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment Valid forklift certification/license Experience using handheld scanners (preferred) Ability to lift 50 lbs. occasionally and 10 lbs. regularly Ability to work on your feet for extended periods Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills Effective time management with the ability to meet operational deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-energy environment Associate Requirements HS Diploma or GED Background Check Able to Lift 50 pounds Drug Test The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $22.00 - $22.00 per hour.
