Non-Exempt Position Summary The Shipping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing final quality control (QC) and outbound logistics for all rental equipment. This role ensures that all gear is properly inspected, labeled, staged, and shipped accurately and on time. The Shipping Supervisor leads the shipping team, coordinates cross-functionally with internal departments, and maintains efficient, safe, and organized loading operations across all Las Vegas facilities. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise the shipping team, managing daily workflow to stay 1-2 days ahead of operational demand Serve as final quality control checkpoint before equipment leaves the facility Review all rental orders for completeness and accuracy, ensuring: o 100% of tickets are scanned and verified o Equipment meets quality standards (clean, undamaged, fully functional) o Barcodes are present, readable, and replaced if needed o Carts and gear are properly labeled and tagged Ensure all outbound shipments are staged, verified, and loaded correctly and on schedule Coordinate proactively with Motors, Truss, Cable & Power, Staging, and Automation teams to confirm readiness of gear Print, sign, and post pick tickets for completed orders and outbound shipments Oversee loading operations across all Las Vegas buildings, ensuring efficiency and accuracy Manage dock and gate activity to maintain a safe and smooth flow of equipment and trucks Communicate effectively with Warehouse Manager, Project Managers, and other departments regarding priorities and issues Delegate and oversee special projects during downtime (e.g., mock-ups, facility improvements, process improvements) Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant staging and loading area Provides feedback to direct reports, keeps the team informed and trained for all day to day duties Promote and enforce company safety standards and operational best practices Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required 5+ years of experience in warehouse, shipping, or logistics operations Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Working knowledge of rental equipment and warehouse processes preferred Experience with pull tickets, logistics dashboards, or inventory systems Familiarity with barcode systems and asset tracking (RTPro or similar systems preferred) Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment Ability to prioritize, multitask, and remain calm under pressure Flexible and willing to support hands-on operations as needed Strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods (8-12 hour shifts) Frequent use of hands for handling, grasping, and operating equipment Ability to work in an industrial warehouse environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and exposure to dust and equipment movement Ability to safely operate or work around forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred or ability to obtain) Ability to climb stairs and work at varying heights when needed Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) Work Environment Industrial warehouse setting in North Las Vegas Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment supporting live events, touring, and installations Collaboration across multiple departments and locations Schedule may include extended hours, evenings, or weekends based on business needs What Success Looks Like Shipments leave on time, complete, and error-free Strong team accountability and engagement Organized, efficient, and safe loading operations Clear communication and alignment across departments Continuous improvement in processes and workflow
