We take pride in maintaining high standards in fleet operations, safety, compliance, and customer service. As our company continues to expand, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fleet & Safety Coordinator to support the daily administrative operations of our fleet maintenance and safety programs.
Position Overview:
The Fleet & Safety Coordinator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day administrative operations of fleet maintenance and safety compliance. This entry-level position coordinates preventative maintenance schedules, communicates with vendors, tracks safety and maintenance records, and assists with compliance reporting to help ensure efficient fleet operations and adherence to company standards. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Preventative Maintenance Coordination:
Track and follow up on PM schedules for the entire fleet, ensuring timely maintenance and minimizing vehicle downtime.
Maintenance Scheduling:
Coordinate and schedule repairs or service needs with Ryder and other maintenance providers; monitor progress and follow up on completed tasks.
Vendor Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for external maintenance vendors, ensuring adherence to company standards and resolving any service-related issues.
Parts Sourcing & Management:
Research and evaluate vendors to secure the best pricing and quality for fleet parts; purchase all required parts; track and maintain accurate records of parts ordering, shipment, delivery, and installation to ensure timely and cost-effective fleet maintenance.
Audits:
Conduct video audits to assess Safety Compliance and identify potential risks.
Data Collection & Analysis:
Track and analyze safety metrics to identify trends and provide recommendations for improvement.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of safety training, inspections, compliance activities, and incident investigations.
