Job Description

Our client, a leading organization in logistics and distribution, is seeking a Distribution Coordinator to join their team. As a Distribution Coordinator, you will be part of the Warehouse department supporting cross-functional teams including sales, record control, and purchasing. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

  • 7:45am (Overnight) What's the Job?
Direct and coordinate activities of distribution facilities to ensure smooth operations Establish and implement operational procedures for verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, handling merchandise, and maintaining warehouse inventory Coordinate with sales, record control, and purchasing departments to ensure merchandise availability Communicate daily with external carriers, plants, sales, finance, and other teams to facilitate operations Review bills of lading, assign duties to staff, and oversee loading/unloading trucks and order picking What's Needed? High School diploma or GED equivalent At least 1 year of related experience in a warehouse or distribution environment Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work in a moderate noise environment and follow safety protocols What's in it for me?
