Position Summary The Shipping & Receiving Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating all shipping, receiving, inventory movement, and finished goods activities to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate material flow throughout the facility. This position drives operational performance by developing employees, optimizing logistics processes, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting customer delivery requirements. The role partners closely with Operations, Production Planning, Quality, Customer Service, and Transportation providers to achieve key performance indicators related to safety, quality, delivery, inventory accuracy, and cost. The Shipping & Receiving Supervisor actively supports TitanX's culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development
- Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and performance management for shipping and receiving personnel.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, engagement, and continuous improvement.
- Support employee training, development, and succession planning initiatives.
- Participate in hiring, disciplinary actions, performance evaluations, and employee relations activities in partnership with Human Resources. Logistics & Material Flow
- Oversee all inbound and outbound shipments to ensure customer and production requirements are met.
- Coordinate transportation schedules and carrier activities to support on-time delivery performance.
- Ensure accurate receiving, storage, inventory transactions, and shipment documentation.
- Monitor warehouse operations to maximize efficiency, productivity, and inventory accuracy. Operational Excellence
- Track and analyze key logistics performance indicators including on-time delivery, premium freight, ASN compliance, inventory accuracy, and transportation costs.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste, and increase operational efficiency.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement activities utilizing TitanX operational excellence methodologies. Compliance & Quality
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, customer requirements, company policies, and applicable legal standards.
- Support
IATF 16949, ISO
9001, Environmental Health & Safety, and other management system requirements.
- Manage freight claims, shipping discrepancies, and corrective action activities.
- Participate in APQP activities, Logistics FMEAs, audits, and customer-driven initiatives as required. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Production, Planning, Purchasing, Quality, Customer Service, and Supply Chain teams to support business objectives.
- Support escalation management related to material shortages, delivery risks, and customer concerns.
- Serve as backup or designated deputy for Supply Chain leadership functions when assigned.
