About Us Peace of Mind Technologies, LLC (POM) is New York's premier systems integrator for security and surveillance technology. Specializing in high-tech systems, cloud-based software services and audio/video solutions for thousands of businesses, schools and properties in the greater New York Metropolitan area, POM's diverse client roster comprises a wide range of prestigious and well-known organizations. Founded in 2002, POM has handled thousands of site installations, primarily focused on large offices, retail, hospitality, health care, education, and real estate (commercial, luxury residential and hi-rise). About the Role The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the organization, control, and movement of materials and equipment supporting installation and service operations. This role ensures that projects receive the right materials, properly staged and delivered on time, while maintaining accurate inventory, organized warehouse operations, and efficient coordination with purchasing, project managers, and field technicians. The Warehouse Supervisor plays a critical role in supporting installation schedules, minimizing project delays, and maintaining operational efficiency across the company. Roles and Responsibilities Warehouse Operations & Organization Maintain a clean, organized, and clearly labeled warehouse environment to ensure efficient material storage and retrieval. Implement and maintain structured inventory locations, bin systems, and material categorization. Establish procedures for receiving, storing, staging, and distributing materials and equipment. Conduct routine warehouse audits to maintain organization and eliminate obsolete or unused inventory. Ensure safety standards and warehouse best practices are followed at all times. Inventory Management Manage warehouse inventory, technician vehicle stock, and equipment inventories. Maintain accurate inventory records of materials ordered, received, staged, issued, and returned. Perform regular cycle counts and inventory reconciliations to ensure system accuracy. Issue equipment and materials for service and installations and adjust inventory accordingly. Identify low inventory levels and coordinate reorders with purchasing to maintain proper stock levels. Material Receiving & Purchasing Coordination Receive incoming shipments and verify materials against purchase orders and packing slips. Track purchase orders to ensure materials arrive in accordance with installation schedules. Trace and resolve delinquent or missing deliveries with vendors. Reconcile packing lists, purchase orders, and vendor invoices. Staging for Installation Projects Coordinate with Project Managers, Foremen, and Service Teams to prepare materials required for upcoming installations and service cases. Stage project materials by job to ensure field teams have complete and accurate equipment packages. Verify that staged materials meet project scope requirements. Job Site Deliveries & Logistics Coordinate and perform material deliveries to job sites as required. Ensure materials and equipment arrive on schedule and in proper condition. Retrieve materials from job sites for returns, repairs, or vendor credits when necessary. Coordinate equipment transfers between warehouse, technicians, and project locations. Vendor & Return Management Inspect incoming materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies. Manage Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) and coordinate returns to vendors. Provide feedback to vendors regarding damaged shipments or product issues. Desired Skills and Qualifications Experience with inventory control systems and warehouse tracking processes. Proficiency with QuickBooks, Excel, Word, and other inventory or ERP tools. Strong understanding of purchase orders, packing slips, and vendor invoices. Exceptional organizational and warehouse management skills. Ability to prioritize multiple projects and installation schedules simultaneously Strong ability to coordinate across departments including operations, project management, and field technicians. Ability to resolve problems quickly and efficiently. High School Diploma required. College coursework in business, supply chain, or operations management preferred. 5+ years of warehouse, logistics, or purchasing experience, preferably in construction, electrical, or low voltage industries Valid Driver's License required. Ability to lift and move materials and equipment as required. Reliable, responsible, and committed to meeting operational deadlines. Does this sound like you?
