Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Receiving Coordinator to join a local manufacturing company. The Receiving Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the receiving process, ensuring accuracy in inventory management, and coordinating with various departments to facilitate smooth operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders
  • Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly
  • Organize and store received items in designated storage areas
  • Maintain accurate records of received goods and inventory levels
  • Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to resolve any discrepancies
  • Assist in loading and unloading trucks using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during receiving operations
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. 2+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics coordination, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and inventory management software. Knowledge of shipping regulations, requirements and export controls. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently with minimal supervision. Forklift operation experience Able to move up to 50 lbs. Valid drivers license
