Job Summary Join Humtown Products as we revolutionize American manufacturing! We're looking for a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Coordinator to support our morning shift (5:30 AM - 12:00 PM), 6 days a week, Monday - Saturday. In this role, you'll be the backbone of our warehouse operations — operating a forklift, managing inventory, coordinating warehouse docks, and keeping our facility safe, organized, and running at full speed. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in doing things right, you'll fit right in with our team of Industrial Athletes. Our goal is to "Make it safe, Make it right, Make it above rate." Primary Responsibilities - Provide forklift support (before, during, and after the shift); pick up pallets to be shipped, take them to the dip room to be washed, and provide packaging as needed to help shift personnel perform efficiently and effectively. Restocking machines during and after shifts to meet packaging needs. Clean all bins, broken pallets, etc., at the end of the shift and store or throw them away. Remove unnecessary packaging and return items to their proper places in the warehouse when jobs are done. Band and/or wrap all pallets as the shift goes, then put them away. Empty scrap hoppers at shift's end/before the next shift's start. Help keep dock approaches and ramps clear of debris and salt them (in winter) as needed. Organize and maintain the warehouse. Keep the floors clear of debris and driving/walking hazards, and orderly storing cores to be shipped. Stack bins to be returned to Leetonia for reuse, and empty chemical/dip totes to be returned. Stack and restack racks used for cores/dipping and storage purposes. Utilize space to properly store all new chemical/dip totes and packaging while keeping the warehouse accessible to navigate. Inspect cores, tags, and packaging to prepare shipments during jobs and for customers. Document product and packaging by tracking pallets and packaging. When ready to ship, write up jobs and weights, ensuring all jobs are completed and ready before shipping. Load and unload trucks and trailers as time allows for jobs requiring our own trailers and as efficiently and quickly as possible for "common carriers" so as not to interrupt shift production. Sign receiving paperwork Help determine packaging inventory levels and maintain them to keep production moving as effectively as possible without interruption. Track warehouse inventory as needed. Update and communicate with the Leetonia packaging team about the current needs/requirements of jobs. Communicate with coaches, other forklift drivers, and shipping personnel efficiently, effectively, professionally, and timely. —most notably, the finishing and readying of shipments, packaging needs, and current levels, helping to prepare tooling to be sent when received back in, and noting/reporting discrepancies on job counts (preferably before the job finishing and before shipping out).
