This role serves as a key point of contact on the floor, helping coordinate workflow, train team members, and ensure operational goals are achieved safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Coordinate daily warehouse activities to support shipping schedules and customer requirements. Work closely with supervisors to prioritize tasks and maintain workflow efficiency. Assist team members by providing guidance, training, and problem resolution. Support shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material movement activities. Coordinate inbound and outbound freight activities, including dock scheduling and truck flow. Monitor inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation efforts. Generate and review operational and productivity reports. Identify opportunities for process improvements that enhance safety, quality, and efficiency. Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and pallet jacks. Maintain compliance with safety policies, operational procedures, and housekeeping standards. QualificationsRequired High School Diploma or GED. 4+ years of warehouse, distribution center, or logistics experience. Minimum 1 year of frontline leadership, team lead, or training experience. Experience supporting shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes. Basic computer proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to operate material handling equipment and work safely in a warehouse environment. Preferred Experience with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Inventory control and cycle counting experience. Knowledge of Lean, Continuous Improvement, or process optimization methodologies. Experience training and developing warehouse personnel. Certification to operate forklifts or other powered industrial equipment.
