West Chester Position Overview Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator for a temp to hire role to process inventory receipts and customer shipments. This role ensures all logistics activities comply with company procedures, customer routing guides, and carrier requirements within a climate-controlled, open-office warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities Logistics & Routing:
Schedule daily TL and LTL carrier pickups; manage on-time routing via vendor portals (e.g., Vendor Central, Retail Link, MacysNet).
Documentation & Compliance:
Create BOLs, invoices, and ASNs; interpret route guides to minimize chargebacks.
Operations Support:
Track shipments, resolve delivery/container delays, and manage export paperwork.
Warehouse Administration:
Assist with inbound container tracking, receiving paperwork, and cross-functional DC operations coverage as needed.
Qualifications Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel (must include searching, sorting, and pivot tables);
WMS/PKMS
experience preferred.
Experience:
Prior warehouse/logistics experience required; familiarity with Retail LTL/TL transportation and SPS Commerce is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize work under pressure.
Education:
High school diploma or GED.
Logistics & Environment Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM
  • 2:30 PM.
Compensation:
$24/hour.
Environment:
Climate-controlled office cubicle within a warehouse (On-site; no work-from-home).
Dress Code:
Business casual (closed-toe shoes mandatory).
