WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

Location:
Hebron, OH Position Overview The qualified candidate will be responsible for leading a team of Forklift Operators, Sequencers and Transportation Drivers. Candidate must possess solid communication and leadership skills and be a goal-oriented individual. Essential Job Functions Oversee all departmental activities and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures and applicable laws. Resolve employee issues, ensure positive employee relations, and promote and enforce all company policies fairly and consistently. Responsible for area performance measures and individual employee work performance; provide coaching and direction to employees; and work with the operations manager to identify, develop and implement training needs for employees. Responsible for communication at all levels. Follow all company quality management system and safety program requirements. Required skills, knowledge and abilities 3 to 5 years supervisory experience. Professional verbal and written communication skills essential. Familiarity with proven quality management programs (i.e.
ISO 9001
;
IAFT 16949
Standards). Familiarity with proven safety programs (i.e. OHSA Regulations). Basic Computer / IT skills (databases, MS Office etc.). Valid driver's license. Key Success Skills for this role Ability to foster and develop relationships with internal customers and team members. Able to demonstrate proven creative lead generation methods. Possess strong organizational, communication, and time management skills. Have exceptional work ethic and be a team player who enjoys working with a diverse group of colleagues. #IND789
