In this vital role, you will oversee inventory management, streamline logistics processes, and ensure efficient shipping and receiving activities. Your leadership will drive process improvements, maintain safety standards, and foster a collaborative team environment. Duties Supervise daily shipping, receiving, and warehouse distribution activities to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment Manage inventory control through effective stock rotation, cycle counts, and system updates using warehouse management systems such as AS400 or similar platforms Lead a team of warehouse associates, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to promote productivity and safety compliance Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to optimize transportation routes and delivery schedules Implement process improvements to enhance materials handling efficiency, reduce errors, and increase throughput Oversee forklift operation and other mechanical equipment to ensure safe handling of heavy materials in accordance with OSHA standards Maintain accurate shipping & receiving documentation, including inbound/outbound logs and incident reports Conduct regular safety audits and enforce OSHA regulations to uphold a safe working environment for all team members Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse supervision or logistics management within a fast-paced environment Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse distribution, and materials handling techniques Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) such as AS400 or equivalent software Ability to operate forklifts and mechanical equipment safely; forklift certification preferred Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for heavy lifting and materials handling Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff effectively Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment is a plus E-commerce logistics experience is advantageous but not required Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in shipping & receiving documentation Join us as a Shipping Logistics Supervisor where your leadership will keep our operations running smoothly!
