Job Description Summary This position reports directly to the Warehouse Manager of the Lamb Weston Boardman Center facility. This position is responsible for supporting the 24/7 demands of a warehouse by directing and mentoring team members, building relationships, managing inventories, and supporting day-to-day operations of the warehouse. Job Description- Lead initiatives and team members in developing safety culture towards world class through reporting of incidents and near misses, escalating safety concerns, and ensuring completion of monthly training
- Actively demonstrate the ability to understand and lead our Lamb Weston Vision, Mission, and Values
- Manage up to 25 warehouse team members (hire, onboard, train, mentor, and develop)
- Work, Lead and Resource team members by being available on the floor.
- Deliver forklift Tracker data, paperwork errors, and safety infractions, with action plans against data to respective team members.
- Create performance/disciplinary actions to address deficiencies and submit for review to Warehouse Manager.
- Plan labor for shifts with the utilization of timekeeping system, schedules, and forecasting tools for respective shifts to meet performance goals established by management.
- Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly facility inspections/audits.
- Work with maintenance department to ensure building infrastructure and equipment are in good operating condition.
- Work with inventory department when necessary to ensure thermometer and calibration program complies with company program.
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic & Preferred Qualifications Education/Certifications:
