THE WORK
In this role, you will supervise our material handling operations at one of our newer warehouses, which supports multiple sites within RMS.
Responsibilities of this role include:
Supervising employees who use equipment such as forklifts, conveyors, carts, and power trucks to move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished products within our plant, office, or warehouse. Coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Overseeing the unpackaging and storage of supplies, materials, and equipment. Determining appropriate containers and wrapping methods for materials to be shipped or stored. Providing direction for daily operations, actively assisting or providing guidance to subordinates as required. Developing work assignments and assessing performance to ensure projects are completed on schedule following established procedures and work plans. Acting as a point of contact for questions or issues, interacting with senior internal personnel on significant matters. Ensuring execution and continuous improvement of processes and procedures, developing solutions to complex problems. Supporting corrective action investigations, root cause analysis, and implementing innovations and process improvements. Maintaining 6S/lean processes for the area of responsibility. Assisting with other duties as required by the Warehouse Leadership Team.

Basic Qualifications:
2 years of leadership experience Experience working in a warehouse Experience in material management, packing, and shipping Experience using warehouse management systems, material requirement planning systems, or manufacturing execution systems

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this
