Shipping Coordinator Palmyra, PA 17078 From $22 an hour - Full-time From $22 an hour - Full-time Job Summary The LTL Shipping Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and optimizing less-than-truckload shipments to ensure timely, cost-effective, and accurate delivery of goods. This role acts as a key liaison between warehouses, carriers, and customer service teams, managing freight logistics, documentation, and performance tracking. Key Responsibilities Plan, schedule, and coordinate LTL shipments with enterprise class TMS Generate and manage shipping documentation, including BOLs (Bills of Lading) Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, damages, or discrepancies Communicate shipment status updates to internal teams and customers Maintain compliance with transportation regulations and company policies Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve processes Build and maintain relationships with carriers and freight brokers Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred) 4+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or shipping coordination (LTL experience preferred) Familiarity with TMS (Transportation Management Systems) and shipping software Strong understanding of freight classification, NMFC codes, and routing Proficient in MacOS, ERP and data entry Skills & Competencies Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation Problem-solving and decision-making skills Excellent communication and coordination skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
