This energetic position offers the opportunity to drive process improvements, optimize inventory control, and uphold safety standards. As a key leader on the floor, you will ensure that our warehouse functions efficiently, safely, and accurately to meet the demands of fast-paced e-commerce and distribution environments. Responsibilities Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and materials handling to maintain operational excellence. Lead and motivate a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a high-performance environment. Oversee inventory control processes using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to ensure accuracy and accountability. Directs workflow for a specific shift, trains new hires, hands out equipment, and covers team member breaks. Coordinate warehouse distribution efforts, optimizing workflows for efficiency while adhering to safety regulations such as OSHA standards. Manage forklift operations and other mechanical equipment safely for heavy lifting and materials handling tasks. Implement process improvements to streamline operations, reduce errors, and enhance overall productivity. Ensure compliance with safety protocols related to OSHA regulations and warehouse best practices at all times. Works directly alongside the team, often handling the same picking, packing, or receiving duties. Requirements Having a can do attitude. Proven experience in warehouse management or supervision within a fast-paced distribution or e-commerce environment. Strong knowledge of inventory management, logistics, shipping & receiving procedures, and materials handling techniques. Hands-on experience operating forklifts and mechanical equipment; forklift certification is preferred. Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and general warehouse management practices. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively in a dynamic setting. Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment and heavy lifting procedures. Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safety standards. Ability to troubleshoot and work independently most of the time.
