Job Summary We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Lead (Supervisor-in-Training) to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop leadership skills while gaining hands-on experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, and process improvement. As a Warehouse Lead-in-Training, you will support daily distribution activities, oversee team members, and ensure safety and efficiency across all warehouse functions. Duties Assist in supervising warehouse distribution activities, including shipping, receiving, and materials handling Support inventory management processes to maintain accurate stock levels and control Help implement process improvements to streamline warehouse operations and boost productivity Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely in compliance with OSHA standards Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery schedules Oversee warehouse management system (WMS) data entry and accuracy using platforms like AS400 or similar systems Lead by example in promoting safety protocols, including heavy lifting techniques and OSHA compliance Requirements Prior experience in warehouse operations or supervision preferred; strong warehouse experience is essential Knowledge of inventory control, shipping & receiving, and materials handling processes Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred but not required (training provided) Mechanical aptitude and understanding of warehouse equipment and systems (e.g., WMS, AS400) Excellent team management skills with a proactive approach to process improvement Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during shift hours Familiarity with logistics concepts such as 3PL (third-party logistics), e-commerce fulfillment, and heavy-duty materials handling Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety and operations Join us as we build a stronger, more efficient warehouse operation while developing your leadership potential.
