Job Description

The warehouse supervisor will work along with upper management to implement company initiatives in the Bristol warehouse; the main warehouse facility for the organization. The warehouse supervisor will oversee the daily workload of the warehouse associates and will work closely with the warehouse manager to manage personnel including hiring/firing/disciplinary actions. Will learn to perform all daily warehouse tasks such as order fulfillment processing, vendor receiving processing, quality inspections, maintaining records, copying, posting, and other similar duties, using a computer terminal. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Reports to the Warehouse Manager.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for all activities related to inbound and outbound shipments including but not limited to checking in, receiving, stocking, checking, and shipping Shift personnel between receiving activities to ensure each part of the process is sufficiently staffed Point person for questions/issues as they arrive Complete quality paperwork when non-conformances arise, work with the quality department on preventative resolutions Train new employees and cross-train existing employees Assist in daily warehouse tasks when needed to maintain workload Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or graduate equivalency diploma (GED) Experience in warehouse associate role Supervisory experience is preferred but not required Onsite training is required to perform job duties that involve operating a fork truck and/or using tools, machinery, or equipment
