Material Handler / Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

Position Summary We are seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Material Handler / Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to support daily warehouse and production operations. This role is responsible for managing inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating material movement throughout the facility, and ensuring ERP transactions are completed correctly and on time. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, has strong organizational skills, and understands the importance of inventory accuracy and on-time delivery. Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and shipments Prepare and process outbound shipments using various carriers and shipping systems Maintain accurate inventory levels Issue materials to production and track inventory movement Accurately enter inventory, shipping, and receiving transactions into ERP system Coordinate with purchasing, production, and quality teams to ensure material availability Package products and materials to ensure safe shipment Maintain organized warehouse and inventory storage areas Monitor shipping supplies and notify management when reordering is needed Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment Qualifications Previous experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse, or material handling preferred Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory transactions Forklift experience required Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and shipping software Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active throughout the workday Strong communication and teamwork skills Preferred Skills Experience with cycle counting and inventory control Understanding of manufacturing workflows and material traceability Knowledge of UPS, FedEx, and freight shipping processes Experience with barcode scanners and inventory systems Must be able to pass FBI/DOJ Background Check NO felonies or violent misdemeanors

Pay:

$25.00 - $32.00 per hour
