Shipping and logistics lead

Shipping & Crating Operations Lead We are looking for a hands-on, mechanically minded person to take ownership of our shipping, crating, and freight operations. This is not a basic shipping clerk position. We need someone who can think through problems, improve processes, build secure crates/load configurations, and ensure products arrive safely to customers.

Responsibilities:

Build and improve crating and packaging methods Prepare and secure freight shipments Coordinate pickups and deliveries with carriers Reduce shipping damage and improve consistency Organize shipping workflow and materials Inspect outgoing shipments for quality and safety Help create repeatable procedures and standards

Ideal Candidate:

Experience with freight, LTL shipping, crating, or warehouse operations Mechanically inclined and detail oriented Able to solve problems independently Understands load security, palletizing, and safe handling Comfortable working hands-on in a warehouse/shop environment Forklift experience is a plus Drug free is mandatory We are looking for someone who takes ownership, uses good judgment, and wants to improve how things are done.

Pay:

$17.50 - $19.50 per hour
