The schedule for this position is Mon - Fri from 6 am - 4pm. This individual is responsible for receiving, picking, staging, processing, and packaging of inbound and/or outbound orders. This individual should be able to handle a heavy workload while at the same time meeting and exceeding all TranSouth standards in terms of productivity, quality, customer service, safety, and housekeeping.
Warehouse Lead position responsibilities:
Provide daily hands on support for the department. Responsible for the picking, staging, processing and packaging of all outbound orders. Assign work loads and housekeeping tasks, adjusting resources, resolving problems and ensuring all orders are properly picked, packaged, and staged by the end of the shift. Train and mentor new associates. Drive compliance with safety, quality and productivity goals in support of warehouse leadership team objectives. Responsibilities Process, package and ship orders accurately Organize stocks and maintain inventory Inspect products for defects and damages Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments Organize warehouse space Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately Check, verify and fill customer orders Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures Keep warehouse clean and organized daily Requirements Proven warehouse experience Ability to safely operate a stand-up and sit-down forklift, hand truck, RF scanner, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment Adequate knowledge of warehouse data system Team player with organizational skills Ability to lift up to 50lbs consistently What we offer Full range of benefits including medical, dental and vision Company 401k plan with company match Paid time off in addition to 8 paid holidays Tuition Reimbursement Other voluntary benefits, direct deposit, employee discount program Minimum requirements High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of warehouse experience Forklift certification Ability to multi-task Bilingual is highly preferred Benefits Medical and dental insurance 401 k with company match Paid time off Paid holidays
