Advanced Warehouse System Coordinator

IT MANAGER BASIC JOB DESCRIPTION
The Advanced Warehouse System Coordinator position holder's major responsibilities are: 1) Assist with setup, testing, and resolution of WMS functionality improvements, and AWS upgrades. 2) Set up and maintain system rules\tables as needed during new functionality deployment. 3) Assist in supporting current and future AWS processes. Coaching, training, and discipline for this position are provided and coordinated by the IT Manager.
JOB OBJECTIVE
To enthusiastically and efficiently perform the assigned job duties in a timely and orderly manner in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures. To work as a team member with other personnel to contribute to the overall efficient and profitable operation of Dan Post Boot Company and to provide excellent service to its customers.
This position holder should:
Subscribe to and support harmonious relations and good teamwork with co-workers, coaches, and management. Strive for continuous improvement in performance of the job duties . Abide by the work rules and rules of good personal behavior as required by Company policy; and support the Company, its policies, rules, and regulations. Willingly and enthusiastically cooperate with, assist, and support the immediate Team Coach in his/her efforts to achieve the highest level of productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction for the subject area of responsibility.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
    WMS Configuration & Optimization:
    o Assist with tailoring software functionality to physical warehouse processes. o Work with AWS software provider on new functionality and current system setup to improve processes. o Configure and test new functionality and report issues\bugs as found for resolution. o Setup system rules and tables to support new functionality. o Train and assist warehouse staff with new functionality as needed.
      Process Improvement:
      o Assist with improving process (e.g., directed pick/put-away, replenishment, etc) to improve efficiency and reduce errors. o Setup and Test new process\improvements prior to moving to production. o Assist with setup of newly added equipment.
        Technical Support & Testing :
        o Troubleshooting WMS reported issues, and report as needed for resolution assistance. o Assist with testing new AWS versions, system upgrades or implementations. o Assist with setup of new hardware and\or third-party software as needed.
          Cross-Functional Collaboration:
          o Act as a liaison between warehouse staff, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure system performance. o Work with Warehouse, EDI, and Sales teams as needed to ensure any customer required forms and labels are designed in system. o Work with carriers (UPS\FedEx) tech support as needed to solve integration related problems. o Assist as needed with warehouse hardware such as replacing printers, computers, setup of shipping profiles, etc. o Assist with setup\configuration of mobile RF devices.

          Keep work area clean and organized. 2. Prepare record of time work as required. 3. Report any safety issues as they may arise. 4. Perform any other duties as assigned by Team Coach.
          KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND CHARACTERISTCS DESIRED 1.
          Experience:
          Hands-on experience WMS platforms is generally preferred. 2.
          Doman Knowledge:
          Understanding of distribution center operations, including receiving, packing, shipping, and inventory auditing. 3.
          Operational:
          Understanding of supply chain logistics, inventory control, and fulfillment workflows. 4. Must be able to read and understand written instructions and follow both written and oral instructions without deviation. Computer experience (Blue Cherry) and shipping knowledge. 5. Warehouse/distribution related experience preferred but not required. 6. Demonstrate a positive attitude. Must have or acquire an understanding that criticism of a fellow employee in a demeaning, degrading, or in a character destructive manner is counter-productive in developing a cohesive team spirit within the operating unit. 7. Must be able to work well with others on an individual basis and as a team player. 8. Ability and reliability to work without continuous close supervision, manage time wisely to complete assigned tasks, and to utilize all on-duty time for the benefit of the Company. 9. Honest, dependable, and trustworthy with a high degree of pride in performance of work and a good work ethic. 10. Must be accountable and readily accept responsibilities of the job. 11.           WORKING CONDITIONS 1.
          Performance of job duties require sitting at a workstation and standing on warehouse floor doing most of the work with considerable interaction and communications with Dan Post Boot Company personnel and external customers. 2. Occasional travel may be required. 3. Office atmosphere is a busy atmosphere with frequent interruptions. 4. Use of video conferencing such as GoTo\Teams\Zoom may be necessary to communicate internally and with outside vendors. 5. The Distribution Center is a large open warehouse area and temperature in the building cannot be totally controlled, areas may be hot or cold, depending on the season. 6. The workplace is a pleasant business environment, and your language and physical conduct should always be consistent with this type atmosphere. Verbal or physical conduct which harasses, embarrasses, disrupts, or interferes with your Teammates' work performance, which creates an intimidating, offensive, or hostile environment, or in general is not consistent with good work place behavior is not allowed. All forms of harassment are prohibited in our workplace and it is Company Policy to emphasize that sexual harassment is specifically prohibited. 7. The Company is committed to maintaining a drug-free workforce and a drug-free and alcohol-free workplace.           GENERAL CONDITIONS AND REQUIREMENTS 1.

Must work all normal scheduled time and any additional time as required by business conditions or requested by Coach. There is a ninety (90) day waiting period before becoming eligible for most non-mandatory employee benefit plans. Days Off With Pay accrual is effective immediately for regular full-time employees. Holiday pay is available for regular full-time employees after the completion of the 90-day waiting period. 9. In accordance with Wage and Hour Laws, this job, as described herein, is not exempt from the overtime provisions of the Wage and Hour Law and all hours over 40 during a work week will be paid at 1 ½ times the regular rate of pay. This position is paid on a weekly basis. The starting wage will be determined by an appraisal of the candidate's experience, knowledge relevant to the job content, and skill development necessary to perform the duties of the job at or above the acceptable level.
