Key Responsibilities Inventory & Materials Management Receive, inspect, and verify materials for quantity, condition, and accuracy Issue materials under proper authorization and maintain accurate inventory records Perform inventory cycle counts and assist with discrepancy investigations and adjustments Identify, sort, and process returned materials, placing usable items back into stock and scrapping non-usable materials Maintain organized and efficient storage locations, including bins, racks, and yard layouts Lift 70 lbs. safely. Warehouse & Yard Operations Prepare, package, and stage materials for shipment or storage, including completing required shipping documentation Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, telehandlers, wheel loaders, hand trucks, hoists, and overhead cranes Assist with the movement of extremely heavy, long, and awkwardly shaped materials Support shipping and receiving of hazardous materials in compliance with safety and environmental regulations Equipment Operation (Preferred Experience) Case 821 Wheel Loader / All-Terrain Forklift (up to 16,000 lbs) JLG Telehandlers (7,000-12,000 lbs capacity) Training may be provided; prior experience is strongly preferred. Safety & Compliance Follow all company safety rules, operating regulations, and procedures Report irregularities, damages, or unsafe conditions immediately Maintain a safety-first mindset aligned with the company's Zero Harm goal Administrative & System Support Operate inventory management systems and supporting tools Use Microsoft Excel and Word to document inventory activity and reports Operate scanners, printers, and other office equipment as required Work Environment & Physical Requirements Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments , including laydown yards Comfortable working in all weather conditions , including heat and inclement weather Ability to lift, carry, stand, and move materials for extended periods Materials may be extremely heavy, oversized, or awkwardly shaped Dress Code & PPE Steel-toe boots required Jeans (long pants) and t-shirts permitted (no inappropriate words or images) All additional PPE provided Employees wearing prescription glasses must supply side shields Travel & Mobility Some local travel may be required Company vehicles may be driven; valid driver's license and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required Contract workers may be asked to relocate temporarily or permanently within a designated territory Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 1 year of experience in forklift operations, inventory control, warehousing, and material handling. Basic computer skills with Excel and experience with inventory systems Working knowledge of logistics, shipping, and inventory relocation Ability to perform basic math functions Strong communication skills and ability to work independently Lift 70 lbs.
