Job Description
About the Position The Warehouse Supervisor provides operational leadership and ensures efficient, customer-focused performance in a demanding order fulfillment environment where excellence is expected. This position oversees all warehouse functions, including inventory control, employee development, workflow coordination, and compliance with company policies. The Warehouse Supervisor drives continuous improvement, fosters a collaborative team culture, and ensures that processes, people, and resources are aligned to deliver exceptional service and support the company's strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities Report directly to the Alliance Supervisor and support strategic warehouse operational goals. Perform HR-related administrative duties, including scheduling, documentation, and personnel coordination. Lead, supervise, and support warehouse staff, providing ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and issue resolution. Oversee employee training and development to ensure operational competence and regulatory compliance. Engage proactively with the customer to coordinate workflow, align scheduling, and support service expectations. Maintain strong professional relationships with customer personnel and internal stakeholders. Ensure accurate inventory control through proper storage practices and oversight of weekly and quarterly cycle counts. Prioritize and complete daily administrative and clerical tasks essential to warehouse operations. Ensure the warehouse and yard remain clean, organized, and consistently 'showroom ready.' Validate that all picked, packed, and shipped materials meet customer quality and accuracy standards. Oversee the verification and staging of customer materials to ensure timely order fulfillment. Record and maintain warehouse operational data, including daily safety and equipment inspections. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed to support workflow. Maintain appropriate staffing levels to deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to company procedures. Maintain appropriate and timely communication with Alliance Supervisor & Account Manager as applicable.
Qualifications:
Prior Warehouse Supervisor experience preferred. Forklift and warehouse experience required. Basic computer skills include Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to communicate with all levels of employees within and outside the organization. Professional and effective demeanor when engaging customers. Excellent organizational skills and ability to delete tasks.Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work in outdoor areas, subject to the elements. Must be able to stand, sit, bend, pull, twist, push, and pull for sustained periods of time. Able to operate a computer and other office machinery using finger dexterity for typing and writing. Must be able to communicate, converse with, and exchange information by means of the spoken word. Able to perform physical effort to lift or move materials up to 50 pounds. Visual acuity to view a computer screen.
