Duties Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and materials handling to ensure seamless operations. Lead and motivate warehouse staff, providing clear direction and support to foster a productive team environment. Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms, ensuring accuracy and timely updates. Oversee warehouse distribution processes, coordinating with 3PL providers and internal departments to meet delivery deadlines. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, and accuracy in warehouse workflows. Conduct regular safety audits in compliance with OSHA standards, promoting a safe working environment for all team members. Operate forklifts and mechanical equipment safely for heavy lifting tasks while adhering to safety protocols. Monitor shipping & receiving activities, ensuring proper documentation and inventory accuracy at all times. Skills Extensive experience in warehouse management, including inventory management and control techniques. Proven leadership skills with previous warehouse supervisor or team management experience. Strong knowledge of logistics principles, warehouse distribution strategies, and materials handling procedures. Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, and other relevant software tools like OSHAsafety standards. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory accuracy and process optimization. Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards and operational efficiency.
