Job Description
Description General Description:
Shipping Coordinator functions include but are not limited to:- Scheduling Controller (Trucking companies)
- Must be able to communicate directly to corporate personal, upper management, and security personal
- Input Data in SAP System
- Organizational skills are a must
- Filing, answer phones, and other clerical duties as required per Shipping Supervisor
- Similar Industry experience preferred
- Assist truck drivers with any questions they may have
- All other
General Shipping Coordinator Functions Working Conditions:
- Office Setting
- Employee will work 40 hours per week M-F with Saturday work if necessary.
Overtime pay available Required skills:
- Knowledgeable in SAP, Microsoft Applications-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook, but not limited to
- Loading Controller knowledge
- Must have good interpersonal skills
- People skills & Listening skills
- Flexibility a plus
- Be able to speak, write, and read English Education Requirements (if applicable):
- Minimum High School diploma or GED equivalent.
