This role is responsible for inventory control, warehouse performance, inventory accuracy, and spare parts availability supporting safe and reliable plant operations. The Warehouse supervisor manages warehouse personnel, inventory processes, and continuous improvement activities while working closely with Procurement, Maintenance, Reliability, Operations, Capital Projects, and Turnaround teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead all aspects of spare parts inventory management supporting Maintenance, Reliability, and Operations. Maintain high inventory accuracy through cycle counting, audits, reconciliation activities, and SAP system governance for warehouse items. Establish and maintain inventory strategies including min/max levels, reorder points, and inventory optimization plans. Analyze inventory trends, consumption patterns, obsolete materials, excess inventory, and dead stock reduction opportunities. Ensure accurate master data management including material descriptions, cataloging, equipment BOM alignment, and warehouse data integrity. Oversee the receiving, storage, preservation, issuing, and tracking of plant spare parts and consumable materials. Lead, coach, and develop warehouse personnel while establishing clear performance expectations and accountability. Develop, monitor, and improve warehouse KPIs including inventory accuracy, service levels, stockouts, cycle count compliance, and inventory turns. Promote and maintain a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with all plant safety procedures and regulations. Coordinate with Procurement to improve supplier performance, reduce lead times, improve material availability, and evaluate vendor stocking opportunities. Partner with Maintenance and Reliability teams to support planned outages, shutdowns, and turnaround activities. Support capital projects and Management of Change (MOC) activities involving new equipment and spare parts setup. Participate in critical spare parts reviews and risk assessments for rotating and fixed equipment. Ensure compliance with Baystar standards, environmental requirements, and site procedures. Lead warehouse process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives. Drive improvements in warehouse organization, material preservation practices, and material handling processes. Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations and inventory control. Perform other duties aligned with the role and business needs as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Minimum 10+ years' experience in warehouse, materials management, or inventory leadership within a chemical, petrochemical, refining or manufacturing industry. High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required Demonstrated leadership experience leading warehouse or material management teams. Strong understanding of MRO inventory, reliability support, and critical spare parts management. Strong experience with SAP or equivalent ERP system. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines Experience supporting plant turnarounds and or maintenance operations Supervisor/leadership experience Proficiency in MS Office
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
10+ years of strategic supply chain experience, preferably in a chemical, manufacturing or process industry
APICS/CPIM
Certification Advanced experience with SAP or equivalent ERP system. Forklift or industrial warehouse certifications are beneficial
PHYSICAL CAPACITY REQUIREMENTS
This position requires the incumbent to: Hazardous shipping certification is required Follow safety requirements (goggles, PPE, etc.) when inside the production facility DOT Certification Lift up to 50 lbs Standing, walking and climbing ladders as needed
