The Warehouse Helper will play a vital role in supporting daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, accurate order fulfillment, and safe handling of materials. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills in warehouse distribution, heavy equipment operation, and materials handling within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to supporting our warehouse management system and overall operational goals. Responsibilities Assist with inventory control by accurately stocking, organizing, and maintaining warehouse stock levels using RF scanners and warehouse management systems. Load and unload shipments utilizing heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers while adhering to OSHA safety standards. Support order picking and packing processes to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment for shipping and receiving. Operate heavy machinery safely for materials handling, including forklifts, cranes, and other mechanical equipment. Participate in shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming and outgoing goods against purchase orders using AS400 or similar systems. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency. Assist with packaging products securely for shipment while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Support warehouse supervisor in daily tasks related to warehouse distribution and management. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on warehouse processes and safety procedures. Experience Prior experience working in a warehouse environment is highly preferred. Familiarity with inventory management systems, including RF scanners and warehouse management software such as AS400. Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment like forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, cranes, or order pickers. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations. Mechanical aptitude or construction experience is advantageous for understanding heavy equipment operation. Proven ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during stocking, order picking, or load/unload activities. Experience with shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment processes, and materials handling techniques. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control tasks. Previous experience in manufacturing or logistics sectors is beneficial but not mandatory.
