Job Description

HGH Infrared Systems (www.hgh-infrared.com) is an international leader in electro-optics and infrared technology. With over 40 years of experience, HGH designs, develops, and sells optronic systems for industrial, civil, defense, and security applications. The company is known for its innovative products, including the award-winning Spynel, a real-time panoramic infrared camera with unlimited intrusion detection capability. HGH is headquartered in France with its U.S. office in Richardson, TX. This is a full-time role for a Shipping and Inventory Coordinator We are seeking a talented, detail-oriented and organized Shipping & Inventory Coordinator to conduct daily shipping operations from our office in Richardson, TX. This role is responsible for inbound and outbound, domestic and international shipments and packaging. Additional responsibilities include maintaining equipment and parts inventory as the team grows at this office. Effective communication with operations, finance and France-based shipping team is required. You must fit in with our small, team-oriented culture.
Key Responsibilities:
From France, receive inbound shipments, inventory bill of materials against items received, ensure items not damaged and provide report to operations. Prepare shipments to customers, coordinating with Operations and Finance Managers. Participate in Purchase Order review process to provide input regarding shipping terms. Ensure shipping paperwork is properly managed and filed. Communicate with France HQ, customers, and vendors. When needed, coordinate with customs officials to resolve clearance issues / delays. Manage tariff tracking, to include filing tariff exemptions when applicable Resolve scheduling conflicts, delays, and dispatch issues Maintain accurate inventory records for parts once on-site operations are put in place. Perform transaction updates, tracking, and inventory reconciliation Secondary responsibility of Facility Management. This does not require repair work but ensuring facility issues are documented and communicated with the Property Management Company. Secondary responsibility as ITAR and EAR compliance. Not initially required and training will be provided.
Qualifications:
3 - 5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills. High attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities. Preferred experience with international shipments. Must be reliable and team-oriented. Provide Resume to the following
