Job Description:
Western Timber Frame is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Hardware & Materials Coordinator to join our shop team in Payson, UT. As an industry leader in timber frame structures and outdoor living spaces, we are committed to delivering high-quality kits, materials, and customer experience nationwide. This entry-level, hands-on position plays a key role in supporting accurate fulfillment, inventory control, and shop organization. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment. This role is well suited for someone who takes pride in accuracy, consistency, and supporting team operations through reliable execution of daily materials and inventory tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble and pack hardware kits, including fasteners, stain, and installation components, according to detailed order specifications Maintain accurate inventory records for hardware, shop supplies, and materials Perform routine cycle counts and assist with ongoing inventory audits Label, organize, and prepare kits for shipping and fulfillment Run occasional errands to local vendors for parts and materials using company vehicles Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment Support the operations and fulfillment team in meeting production and shipping deadlines
Qualifications:
No prior timber frame or construction experience required; training provided Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a shop environment Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required for errand runs) Basic computer proficiency and ability to maintain accurate written records Dependable work ethic with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset Prior warehouse, stocking, or inventory experience is beneficial but not required
Compensation/Benefits:
$14-$16/hr based on experience Consistent Monday-Friday schedule Hands-on training and ongoing support Opportunities for growth within the company
Pay:
$14.00 - $16.00 per hour
