Full-time hourly Reports to: Warehouse Manager About PackYak PackYak helps ecommerce brands pick, pack, ship, track, and scale with fewer fulfillment fire drills. We support growing brands across DTC, wholesale, FBA/FBM, TikTok Shop, Shopify, and other ecommerce workflows, with operations built around real order flow, SKU complexity, packing rules, shipping requirements, and customer-specific instructions. We are looking for a Fulfillment Lead who can help make sure orders move out accurately, efficiently, and on time every day. About the Role The Fulfillment Lead is a hands-on leadership role for someone with real warehouse and fulfillment experience. This person will not just pick and pack orders; they will help run a day of fulfillment. You will play a critical role in making sure daily order volume gets completed, special workflows are handled correctly, and the fulfillment team stays focused, accurate, and productive. You will work closely with our other Fulfillment Lead to ensure coverage for daily order volume. This role is especially focused on bulk/wave shipments, wholesale orders, special projects, and day-to-day floor supervision as required . This role requires availability to work and eventually lead two Saturday shifts per month. This is a higher-expectation role than Fulfillment Specialist - we are looking for someone who can take ownership, solve problems, communicate clearly, and keep the team moving without waiting for every instruction. What You'll Do Lead daily fulfillment execution, including picking, packing, shipping, and order completion. Run and support bulk orders, wave shipments, wholesale orders, FBA/FBM prep, kitting, and special projects . Help supervise the fulfillment team during the day, including assigning work, answering questions, checking progress, and keeping priorities clear. Make sure orders are fulfilled accurately, on time, and according to each customer's packing and shipping rules. Use the WMS and shipping tools to monitor order flow, identify issues, and help move work through the warehouse. Review special instructions, packing rules, inserts, branded packaging, SKU-specific requirements, and shipping preferences before work begins. Train and coach Fulfillment Specialists on correct processes, quality expectations, and efficient workflows. Identify bottlenecks, mistakes, inventory issues, missing supplies, or unclear instructions and escalate them quickly. Perform quality checks on orders, labels, packing, wholesale shipments, and project work. Help maintain a clean, safe, organized, and productive fulfillment area. Jump in wherever needed to make sure the day's fulfillment commitments are met. What Success Looks Like Daily orders are completed accurately and on time. Bulk, wave, wholesale, and special-project shipments are organized and executed cleanly. Fulfillment Specialists know what they are working on and what the day's priorities are. Customer-specific rules are followed without repeated reminders. Mistakes are caught before they become customer problems. The warehouse floor feels calm, focused, and productive, even on busy days. Managers can trust you to own the fulfillment flow for the day. Requirements Several years of progressive warehouse, ecommerce fulfillment, 3PL, shipping, or operations experience. Experience with high-volume order fulfillment, wave/batch picking, wholesale orders, or project-based warehouse work. Ability to lead by example while still working hands-on. Strong attention to detail, especially with SKUs, quantities, labels, packing rules, and shipping instructions. Comfort using warehouse systems, scanners, shipping software, spreadsheets, or similar operational tools. Ability to prioritize work, communicate clearly, and keep a team moving. Reliable attendance and the ability to work with urgency throughout the day. Able to lift, move, stand, walk, bend, and perform physical warehouse work for a full shift. Positive, accountable, low-drama attitude. Preferred Experience Prior team lead, shift lead, floor lead, or warehouse lead experience. Experience in a 3PL, ecommerce fulfillment center, wholesale shipping, FBA prep, or consumer goods warehouse. Experience training newer warehouse employees. Experience with special projects, kitting, branded packaging, inserts, or customer-specific workflows. Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus.
