Duties Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and materials handling to ensure smooth operations. Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, providing training, coaching, and performance feedback to maximize productivity. Oversee inventory control processes using warehouse management systems (WMS) to maintain accurate stock levels. Coordinate logistics for warehouse distribution, ensuring timely delivery and pickup of goods while optimizing space utilization. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, safety compliance (OSHA standards), and accuracy in order fulfillment. Manage forklift operations and mechanical equipment to facilitate heavy lifting and materials movement safely. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA standards, by conducting regular safety audits and training sessions. Skills Proven experience in warehouse supervision with strong leadership capabilities in team management. Extensive knowledge of inventory management, warehouse distribution, and logistics operations. Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), and other related software tools like payment processing platforms. Mechanical knowledge related to materials handling equipment such as forklifts and conveyor systems. Strong understanding of shipping & receiving processes within e-commerce or retail environments. Ability to implement process improvements that streamline workflows and reduce errors. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with internal teams, carriers, and vendors effectively.
