We are looking for a motivated Warehouse Lead to join our team in Othello, Washington, who will supervise warehouse operations, overseeing defined process flows, personnel, and equipment to ensure the efficient, accurate, and safe handling of seed and steck materials. Your responsibilities: Oversee the receiving, repacking, processing coordination, and shipping of seed and stecks. Ensure steck and seed quality is maintained during storage. Ensure the quality, integrity, and proper handling of seed and steck inventory throughout all warehouse processes. Organize and maintain warehouse inventory and storage areas, ensuring all inventory transactions, shipments, and process flows are accurate, timely, and efficient. Lead, organize, and supervise multiple contract labor teams throughout the processing year; support staffing plans and assign daily workloads. Provide hands-on coordination and control of daily warehouse activities. Utilize SAP and other company-provided applications to maintain records, document required information, generate reports, and monitor warehouse status and projections. Order and maintain consumable materials for the warehouse. Support other departments as needed, including but not limited to seed production field maintenance and steck nursery planting. Ensure Company handbook, Rules, Guidelines, Procedures, and safety policies are followed, and personal protective equipment is used correctly. Travel and/or drive and/or operate a forklift on behalf of the business. Meet attendance requirements. Other duties as assigned.
What you bring in:
Several years of experience in warehouse supervision High mechanical knowledge and strong technical skills. Forklift certification Agricultural experience (preferred)
