Job Description

Didion is seeking a hands-on Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to support warehouse operations and production flow. This role plays a key part in maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency while supporting the movement of food-grade products. You'll be cross-trained across multiple warehouse functions, gaining valuable skills and growth opportunities while helping keep operations running smoothly.

$23-$26 per hour What You'll Do Warehouse & Operations Load trucks using sit-down, LP, and stand-up electric forklifts Provide dock coverage and support shipping/receiving activities Coordinate delivery schedules with drivers and carriers Manage and monitor dock scheduling email and logistics system (ASC) Support production operations to ensure efficient plant performance Safety & Quality Maintain a strong warehouse safety culture Keep warehouse and dock areas clean and organized Contribute to quality, production, and teamwork goals Communication & Coordination Communicate schedule updates, delays, and progress with leadership Collaborate closely with Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams Deliver timely and accurate reports on department activity Continuous Improvement & Growth Participate in cross-training and job rotation Support process improvements and problem-solving efforts Take on additional responsibilities and project work as needed What We're Looking For High school diploma required (technical degree a plus) 2+ years of shipping and receiving experience Forklift experience (sit-down and stand-up preferred) Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office; warehouse systems experience a plus) Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving ability Strong communication skills (Spanish is a plus) Team-focused, reliable, and proactive mindset Physical & Work Environment Work in varying conditions (noise, dust, hot/cold environments) Lift up to 55 lbs regularly; up to 100 lbs occasionally Frequent standing, climbing stairs/ladders, and working at heights Ability to work in confined spaces following safety procedures Use of two-way radio for communication Didion Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
