JOB DESCRIPTION
The Warehouse Night Lead oversees all aspects of the warehouse including receiving, rotating, loading, and distribution functions of the company.? The individual collaborates with operations management to plan and direct all warehouse activities related to the receipt, warehousing, and distribution of products. The position also supervises a team of warehouse associates and may require physically assisting warehouse staff to meet deadlines.
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong communication and interpersonal skills which build relationships with team members, develop team cohesion and skills and encourage input from all Robust organizational and time management ability to coordinate work schedules and deliveries, and meet deadlines Keen problem-solving capability focused on increasing warehouse efficiency and safety, strengthening supportive team culture, and managing costs Self-motivated, results-driven, and committed to providing best-in-class service Acts with honesty and transparency and treats others with respect, dignity and fairness Fosters an inclusive culture, building teams that are collaborative, supportive, open to different perspectives and driven to success and professional growth Able to reach, twist and bend Able to lift up to 175 lbs. multiple times a day Able to work with and be certified with forklifts, order pickers and other warehouse product handling equipment Can read, write, add, subtract, multiply and divide at high school equivalency level Proficient using a computer or tablet and able to learn job specific programs Must have a valid Driver's license Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and lift test
Requirements:
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
Direct the planning and assignment of work for the most efficient use of warehouse personnel and equipment to control costs.???? Evaluate methods and procedures in assigned areas of responsibilities and recommend changes to management. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and make recommendations to management on maintenance needs.???? Conduct regular safety audit of warehouse and routine safety training with staff including compliance with all forklift maintenance and certification requirements.??? Oversee and ensure the accurate picking and loading of orders of daily orders for delivery.?? Mentor, coach, and provide stewardship to Warehouse Associates. Conduct all GB required employee growth conversations with team members (such as Performance Conversations and CNDs) Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
