Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Precast Yard Foreman to lead our precast manufacturing operations. In this vital role, you will oversee the daily activities of the precast yard, ensuring efficient production, safety compliance, and high-quality standards. Your leadership will drive teamwork, coordinate materials handling, and manage the assembly and fabrication processes to meet project deadlines. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to construction projects by supervising a skilled team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all precast yard activities, including materials handling, fabrication, assembly, and storage. Lead a team of workers in operating equipment such as forklifts and other machinery safely and efficiently. Ensure all precast elements are fabricated according to project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and machining tools during production processes. Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products; organize warehouse space for optimal workflow. Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety inspections to maintain a secure work environment. Collaborate with project managers customers to schedule production timelines and resolve any operational issues promptly. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse operations, manufacturing, construction or precast concrete environments. Hands-on experience operating equipment such as forklifts and other machinery used in precast production. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication machinery. Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high safety standards; previous supervisory experience preferred. Excellent communication skills with staff, customers, management a must. Ability to schedule concrete pours and customer deliveries Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing inventory and production schedules.
