Warehouse Clerk needed immediately! PrideStaff is urgently seeking a reliable, high-energy Sit-Down Forklift Operator for a Temp-to-Hire role in the Hoover, AL area. Strong attention to detail is essential for success in this role.

$17.00 an hour

Hire Key Responsibilities:

Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently. Perform pre-shift safety and maintenance checks on the forklift. Receive, process, and accurately log incoming stock into inventory. Accurately pull, pack, and process orders for business-to-business (B2B) delivery. Identify and check cargo against packing lists and verify outbound shipments using Bills of Lading (BOLs). Maintain accurate inventory and assist with physical inventory counts as needed.

Required Qualifications:

Sit-down forklift operator experience (certification preferred). Demonstrated strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Self-motivated and capable of working independently and reliably. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently. Physical ability to sit for prolonged periods while operating the forklift. Compliance with all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including wearing steel-toed boots. Must be willing to work in a dusty or dirty environment. Basic computer experience is preferred but not required.
