Job Description

Production Laborer - Pallet Repair We are seeking a Production Laborer to work in our pallet repair facility, inspecting and repairing wooden pallets in a high‑volume, fast‑paced production environment. This role is physically demanding and ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, staying active all day, and being paid based on individual productivity. Key responsibilities Inspect incoming pallets for damage, missing boards, and structural defects. Sort pallets by condition and type (repairable, scrap, rework). Repair pallets using hammers, pry bars, nail guns, saws, and other hand and power tools. Replace broken or missing deck boards and stringers; pull and reset nails; reinforce weak points. Meet or exceed daily production targets for pallets repaired while maintaining quality standards. Stack, band, and stage finished pallets for loading or further processing. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements. Report equipment issues, safety concerns, and material shortages to supervisor promptly. Work environment and physical demands Very fast‑paced, production‑driven warehouse setting with constant movement and repetitive tasks. Regularly lift, carry, push, and pull wooden pallets weighing up to 50-75 lbs throughout the shift. Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, reaching, and working with arms extended while using tools. Stand and walk on concrete floors for the entire shift, typically 8-10 hours per day. Exposure to wood dust, nails, splinters, loud noise, and changing warehouse temperatures. This is a physically demanding job that requires sustained effort, stamina, and the ability to keep a strong, steady work pace for the full shift.
