General Production Worker Job Description Join our team as a General Production Worker where you will be integral in the manufacturing process within an industrial setting. You will operate machinery and handle materials essential for producing tungsten products. Responsibilities Operate machinery and equipment involved in the production process. Handle and transport barrels of tungsten powder to the dryer. Monitor and maintain the efficiency of the chemical process. Perform physical tasks including moving products and navigating stairs. Ensure cleanliness and safety in a non-climate controlled environment. Essential Skills Experience in manufacturing or industrial settings. Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 30 lbs. Strong work history and reliability. High School Diploma or GED is required. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in a chemical plant is preferred. Experience in mechanical, construction, or chemical industries is advantageous. Ability to adapt to a challenging work environment with high temperatures and manual labor. Why Work Here? The job involves working with high-temperature furnaces, robots, and powdered metal in an industrial setting. Attire may become dirty due to black powder residue. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntsville, AL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
