madison, alabama Posted 4/24/2026 Closes 5/31/2026 Job details Summary Spherion $16.00•$18.50 per hour Temp to Perm 6:00 AM•3:00 PM (Various Shifts Available) Industry manufacturing & production (Production Occupations) Reference number S_174987 We are seeking meticulous and self-motivated Material Handlers to join our team for the 2026 season. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials, loading/unloading shipments, and maintaining inventory accuracy within our facility. 1st
Shift:
6:00 AM•3:00 PM or 7:00 AM•3:30 PM 2nd
Shift:
3:00 PM•11:30 PM Overtime may be required during peak periods
Responsibilities:
Safely operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts to move, stack, and stage materials. Move goods to and from delivery and storage areas. Record units moved using production sheets or inventory software; perform cycle counts as needed. Conduct daily pre-use forklift inspections and adhere to all OSHA safety protocols. Stage products based on customer orders and assist in packing/wrapping items for shipment.

6:00 AM•3:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
Experience using handheld RF scanners to track inventory and confirm orders. Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP software like SAP or Oracle. Prior experience with electric pallet jacks, reach trucks, or stand-up forklifts. ... Experience performing regular inventory audits and physical stock counts. Ability to perform daily pre-operation inspections and identify minor equipment maintenance needs. Knowledge of processing Bills of Lading (BOL), packing lists, and manifests.

High School Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years of experience operating a forklift is required. Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift throughout the shift. Must be at least 18 years old online and keep an eye out for a prescreening questionnaire. A mandatory forklift test will be administered during the interview.
