$17.00/hour Job Summary We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Worker to support an incoming and outgoing automotive parts operation in Madison, Alabama. This role is responsible for receiving, put-away, picking, packing, staging, and shipping parts while maintaining accuracy, safety, and productivity standards. Key Responsibilities Receive inbound automotive parts and verify counts, part numbers, and condition against paperwork/system. Label, sort, and stock parts to assigned locations (put-away) and maintain organized storage areas. Pick orders accurately using pick lists or RF scanner; stage orders for outbound shipments. Pack and prepare shipments; apply labels and documentation per shipping requirements. Load/unload trucks using pallet jack, cart, or forklift (if certified/assigned). Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory control; report discrepancies promptly. Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all warehouse safety procedures (PPE, lifting, equipment use). Support general warehouse tasks as needed, including returns processing and basic housekeeping. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience considered. Ability to read labels, part numbers, and shipping documents accurately. Basic math skills and attention to detail for counting and verifying inventory. Reliable attendance and ability to work 1st shift hours (7:00 AM- 3:30 PM). Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment with daily production goals. Preferred Qualifications 1+ year of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or automotive parts experience. Experience using RF scanners/WMS systems. Forklift experience and/or certification (sit-down or stand-up) a plus. Knowledge of common automotive part types and packaging standards. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and around moving equipment. Compensation & Schedule Pay rate is $17.00/hour. Schedule is 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM.
