Job Description
Our Warehouse Order Selector position is responsible for selecting customer orders in the warehouse. The Order Selector plays a vital role in the success of our company by conducting their job in an efficient and accurate manner. Orders are pulled by using scanning-based order selection technology. The selector locates the product slot in the warehouse, identifies the product, scans the label of the product and then places the product in a tote, box or other delivery receptacle. The product is then placed on a pallet arranged in delivery stop sequence. The product is shrink-wrapped and taken to the designated outbound dock door for loading. Daily Responsibilities Arrive to work on time and ready to perform your job duties with efficiency and accuracy Arrive to work appropriately dressed and in compliance with company grooming policies. Must be able to work beginning at 1:30 p.m. until shift is completed Must be able to walk extensively Must be able to stand for long periods of time usually 8-10 hours Must have normal use of shoulders, arms, wrists, hands, feet and legs Must be able to bend at the waist, stoop to reach locations and squat to lift heavy items in a proper manner Must be physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50lbs; although average lifting is less than 20lbs Must be able to read slot numbers and product descriptions Must be able to count accurately and perform simple mathematical skills Must conduct and complete all assigned tasks with competency Must be 18 years of age or older Must pass a Drug Screening Must perform all tasks SAFELY!
