Job Overview Hill Electric, Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Technician to support daily operations and ensure the efficient flow of materials, tools, and equipment for our electrical projects. This role is essential to keeping job sites running smoothly by maintaining accurate inventory, supporting field crews, and upholding safety and organizational standards within the warehouse. The Warehouse Technician plays a direct role in project success and overall operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Warehouse & Inventory Management Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials for accuracy, quality, and damage Organize, label, and store materials to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely Prepare and stage materials for delivery to job sites Coordination & Communication Coordinate with Drivers, Foremen, and Field Coordinators to ensure timely material delivery Assist with loading and unloading trucks to prevent job site delays Communicate material shortages, delays, or discrepancies promptly Support a collaborative, team-focused work environment Equipment & Facility Support Assist with inspections and basic maintenance of warehouse equipment Report damaged tools, equipment issues, or repair needs to the Warehouse Director Maintain warehouse safety standards and organization at all times Safety & Compliance Promote and follow a safety-first culture in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company policies Use proper PPE and encourage safe practices among team members Report incidents, injuries, or hazards immediately using Traqspera documentation Maintain or obtain OSHA 10 certification Administrative & Systems Update inventory management systems for all incoming and outgoing materials Assist with purchase order tracking and documentation Approve weekly timecards and submit PTO requests through Traqspera Complete required training through the Trainual system Qualifications High school diploma or GED (required) 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred (construction or electrical industry a plus) Forklift certification strongly preferred OSHA 10 certification preferred Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical & Work Environment Requirements Ability to lift and carry materials up to 75 lbs Frequent standing, walking, and material handling Exposure to outdoor weather during deliveries and operations Regular use of forklifts and warehouse equipment Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience and competency Paid holidays and PTO Health, dental, and vision insurance Life and supplemental insurance 401(k) with company match Why Hill Electric? Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
